The Hideaway@Baxby is a special, peaceful and restful place where you can spend precious days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A haven for walkers and cyclists, and a perfect base for exploring the many historic, cultural and outdoor attractions of this lovely part of Yorkshire. We are about camping, the countryside and getting away from it all and for those reasons;
We have a strict no noise policy after 11pm (unless your here for a Wedding of course!) so if you want to stay up late partying-this is NOT the site for you! Excessive noise will not be tolerated and if necessary you will be asked to leave, regardless of the time of day or night!

Baxby Manor
The Hideaway is situated on land belonging to a 705 year old medieval manor – Baxby Manor!
Baxby Manor, on the edge of Husthwaite village, was built in 1308 and is nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and is conveniently just 15 miles from the historic city of York.
Even though we are only a few miles from the market towns of Thirsk and Easingwold you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the middle of nowhere!
