We have two Double Ecopods (sleeps 2, one of which is doggy-friendly) and one Family Ecopod (sleeps 2+2).
Unlike most ‘Pods’ ours have proper beds in them…and mattresses! The Doubles have a double bed for two whereas the Family Ecopod has a double bed AND a bunk bed and a single bed for the kids. The singles are only suitable for kids though, they are not large enough for adults, (2ft wide).
There is no electricity in the Ecopods because that just wouldn’t be ‘eco-glamping, with soul’ now would it! There are lanterns for T-lights though so you can sit outside and gaze at the stars….
You will need to bring your own bedding (sheet,duvet/sleeping bag and pillows) and perhaps some chairs for sitting around the campfire and toasting marshmallows…we also recommend you bring some slippers or similar footwear for inside the Ecopods as we ask that no outdoor shoes are worn inside. (Keeps the wooden floor looking nice!)
Campfire cooking only, there’s no cooking facilities inside so bring a camping stove with you so you don’t have to crank up the fire in the morning for that bacon sarnie!
Each Ecopod has its own fire-pit.

A refundable £30 damage deposit is added to all EcoPod bookings and this is returned to your card 7-10 after departure.
We are a small family-run business and do not have an army of staff waiting to take your call, as a consequence we do NOT take bookings over the phone however if you do need to speak to someone please be patient when calling as we may be busy with other customers, we will answer your call as soon as we can, thank you.
Or, if you fancy something a little MORE luxurious then come and check in to one of our Hobbit Houses for a couple of nights!
With a PROPER double bed plus two single beds (one a bunk over the double) plus “Up-cycled” outdoor furniture (chairs/benches and tables) made from wooden pallets and decking (as a result of our local pub’s refurbishment!) fairy lights,
plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses, BBQ tools, (removed #COVID19), portable single gas stove, kettle, not to mention your own log burning stove inside AND a campfire outside by the door- there’s quite a lot included!
As no cooking pans are provided we suggest bringing a frying pan or two to cook those tasty bacon and egg sarnies (our local butcher delivers most Saturday mornings!). You will need to bring your own bedding (none supplied), it’s so much nicer having your own pillow you’ve got to admit! It can get a little cool during the night, even in mid-summer so bring a nice warm duvet. Other items you will need to bring with you include; dishcloths, bag of T-lights, gas canisters for the camping stove, (we sell them in the shop), and perhaps a gazebo to shelter from the (rain!) sun.
As with the Ecopods please bring slippers or similar to wear inside the Hobbit Houses.
Our Hobbit Houses have solar lights as there is no electricity for the very same reasons mentioned above…
Each Hobbit House also has its own fire-pit. One Hobbit House is dog-friendly (BT5).
